Helen Keller, Mom, Dad, and Annie Sullivan
When Helen was a baby she got a sickness that made her blind and deaf. She had someone help her speak with hands, her name was Annie Sullivan. Helen caught on easily but didn’t like not being normal. She wanted Annie to teach her to talk like normal kids and adults. She graduated college and made speeches to represent the struggles of the blind and deaf.
My Thoughts and Recommendations
I thought this was fine. Helen’s life was so hard back then so I felt bad for her. Others can and should read this. Poor Helen. It taught me that the blind and deaf have a hard life but can overcome their problems.
